July 2008: Twelve days in Northwest Montana. Four days in Glacier National Park (two nights at West Glacier overlooking Lake MacDonald, one night in Many Glacier Lodge overlooking the Swiftcurrent Lake, and one night St. Mary's Great Bear Lodge).
We go from the park to spend a week at the JJJ Wilderness Ranch near Augusta, MT for horseback riding, family time, and relaxation - no phones, no internet, no stress!
Probably a bit too much of the Griswolds going on with this trip. That movie has been renewed in Robin Williams' RV movie, and now primetime TV has brought us "The Great American RoadTrip". We have the same 'issues' on the trip - we just choose not to share them with the viewing public.
